R&D Case Study – Accountant
An accountancy practice with over 50 employees and five partners use our company to claim Research and Development (R&D) tax credits for relevant clients.
The accountancy practice had produced a few R&D claims in the past but did not feel they were doing the scheme justice. They were also concerned that they may not be claiming everything that their clients could be entitled to, and that the process was so specialised that it was inefficient to carry out in-house.
The company realised that working with us would allow them to focus on their core work, while offering their clients an additional, tried and tested, valuable service.
The Accountants facilitate a simple introduction between the business owners and ourselves and we take it from there. A brief client visit or phone call (maximum 30 minutes) is usually sufficient to ascertain whether any claimable R&D work is taking place. We then set up a short visit to the business (approximately 1 to 2 hours) to gather the information required so that we can produce the in-depth technical and financial reports required to support a refund. We keep the Accountants informed during the process to ensure a successful collaboration between themselves, their valuable clients, and ourselves.
Our 100% success rate on submitted claims has ensured this has been a great partnership for all parties. As with all our Partners, they refer their Clients with complete confidence.
