Our Client provides energy management consulting and hardware to the commercial sector.

Over the years they have assessed their Clients usage of energy, the peaks and troughs in expenditure/usage, then provide advice on how to best utilise their energy consumption. This work has led to providing advice on, and installation of solar energy systems.

Their latest project (which we have carried out the R&D claim on) was to design (from the ground up), develop, build and then install ‘smart-meters’ within their Clients commercial premises.

Their product provides a more in-depth summary and management than domestic equivalents and has become a sought after product for businesses looking to maximise the efficiency of their energy equipment and minimise their energy costs.

Their development has mainly been on the creation of, and staff costs, in developing the new smart-meters. Their innovative work keeps them ahead of their UK competition.

We were delighted to be appointed to conduct our site visit, then produce comprehensive technical and financial reports to justify the R&D element of this product evolvement. Our involvement assisted them in receiving a tax refund of over £30k in June 2017.
