Their work involves researching what uses there are for various waste, the timing of waste disposal, and volumes of waste dispatched at various times of the year. They have also developed a bespoke IT platform which allows their drivers to obtain real time information and provide updates from site. This system has greatly improved efficiency.

The project has resulted in lower volumes of waste and more cost-efficient methods of waste disposal. The system also supports our client in meeting the stringent environmental legislation that applies to agricultural waste.

Their innovative attitude has resulted in them remaining ahead of UK and international competition. Working with us to provide technical and financial reports to justify the R&D element of this product development meant that they received a tax refund of over £37k in 2017.
